The weather has been perfect this weekend. It was a beautiful weekend, with perfect weather. After all the rain last week, I was not expecting to see the sun anytime soon. Mia was a bit unexpected on Thursday, as she came home from school early because she had vomited at lunchtime. She’s never ill because she has such a strong immunity system. It was sad to see her pale and ill. She stayed on the couch for the rest the day, watching films. Elliw went on a field trip to Aberystwyth, which she loved. Elliw’s trip was a great idea because I didn’t need to drag Mia to school when she was sick. Elliw arrived home at 6pm, so my partner was able to pick her up.
Initially, Mia had planned to stay home over the weekend but changed her mind. She decided to spend the night with her dad on Saturday. I woke up Saturday morning in a terrible mood because Freddie slept poorly. He is back to his old bad sleep habits. I hope that this will soon change. I went into the shower in hopes that it would lift my spirits, and it did. We left straight away and didn’t know where we were heading. We drove towards Anglesey, and we saw a farm that allowed you to pick your own strawberries. We drove by as we had missed the entrance. We planned to visit it on our return after lunch. After eating at a pub, we headed back to our strawberry farm. Elliw couldn’t contain her excitement. I’ve always wanted to pick strawberries, and didn’t know there was one nearby. Elliw loved picking strawberries and placing them in her plastic basket. We had a great time. The smiles on Elliw’s face made it worth the cost. If you have never gone strawberry picking, I highly recommend it. We are eager to return. We decided to go visit my grandparents after we finished, but only Nain was there. It was nice to catch up with each other. We stayed a few hours. After that, we went home and chilled out for the evening. I also worked. We were late for our return, but we had a wonderful day.
We went bed shopping in Llandudno on Sunday. I have been in need of a new bed for quite some time and we have finally decided on a super-king size. We have seen three or four mattresses that we like, and a beautiful wooden bed frame. It’s now time to choose which mattress you want, as they are so expensive. Who knew that mattresses could be so expensive? Prices are outrageous. We are desperate to get a new bed as the frame is about to break and the mattress so uncomfortable.
After a few hours looking for quotes on beds that we liked, Elliw was taken to a shop to pick out a toy because she had behaved well. I was very pleased with how well Elliw behaved and listened. We went on a picnic in the car. We were going to have a picnic elsewhere, but it took us longer than expected to find beds. We went to Primark in the next shopping center after lunch. I was so excited that I cheered like a child the night before Christmas. After purchasing a few items, I was disappointed. I’m sure I went on a very low-stock day. The store was too small for my taste. Primark is huge to me, but this wasn’t. I should not complain, I did get a few nice things.
We had a lovely weekend. It was a great weekend. I’m glad I recorded it. This month, I’m trying to vlog each day. I’ve decided to do daily vlogs on weekdays, and maybe just a weekend video over the weekends as I don’t want to be so busy over the weekend. I hope this will help me gain confidence in vlogging again and I’m excited to start all over. Also, I have some pre-recorded videos that I need to upload.
