Our Mini Escapades {March}

We absolutely adore being outdoors and creating new memories with the kids. One goal I strive for as a parent is that my kids remember going certain places, just as I have fond childhood memories travelling the country with my father and brother. Although we haven’t visited as much as we’d like yet, this year we plan on making a bucket list of places we want to see together; especially long walks surrounded by breathtaking landscapes – something which my girls always seem to enjoy doing with us!

Everyone who knows me understands my passion for photography, which I have since getting my new camera. Since owning it, I’ve tried learning different ways of taking photographs; from trying different effects to getting the best shots that I possibly can. With multiple children running around it can be hard taking quality images; yet ‘natural’ shots tend to turn out best.

Last month I wanted to join in Kerri-Ann’s linky My Family Adventures but things got in the way and I never managed to write up my post for March. Here it is now though!

I can hardly believe we’re already in April! March passed quickly, with its first half being quite fulfilling yet the second half becoming less so due to family problems. Still, we managed to take some days out throughout March – my favourite being our stay in Bluestone! Elliw was thrilled when we went for her fifth birthday treat, which she absolutely adored! I managed to make two videos documenting our stay which you can see here and here, and also managed to secure an affordable hotel in Haverfordwest after spending all Friday at Tenby – it was absolutely magical and weather conditions couldn’t have been better! I captured so many wonderful photographs which will soon be framing and possibly printed onto canvas for display!
