Braving the Cold on a Winter Stroll in Llanfairfechan

I enjoy taking my kids on walks and to new places. North Wales has so many attractions to explore. My favourite places are those with breathtaking scenery. You can find some stunning views around here. We decided to take a walk on Saturday after the rain stopped. Mia was at her Dad’s, so my partner, Elliw and Freddie were the only ones there. We thought about asking my Taid, but he wasn’t available.
We chose to go to a place named Llanfairfechan.
It’s a word that is probably difficult to pronounce for those who don’t know welsh. The village has a beautiful seafront. It has a beach but I have never been there for the beach. We go there to walk with the kids and to take them to the park. Elliw started to moan and we had to turn around. We walked a good distance and enjoyed the fresh air.

Walking is a great way to appreciate where you live, as well as talk without using your phone.
We play games like ‘I spy,’ etc. with our kids when we walk. Elliw got frustrated because she kept getting water in her wellies after jumping into muddy puddles. We talked about our upcoming vacations and where we would like to go this year or next. The day was beautiful and it put everyone in a great mood.
